Almost finished with car then started on dash replacement, now have no power to dash lights, cig lighter clock or interior lights, fuses look good. Does anyone have picture of fuse panel showing showing where the extra connections plug in ? There are a few plugs not connected hanging around fuse panel. I have several manuals and wiring book but they are no help.
Check the main dash ground on the left windshied pillar just above the door hinge.
At least in as far as I'd check the grounding out throughly.
Get a nice piece of #12 wire 'bout 10 foot long. Go to a car or electronics parts store. Buy a alligator clip large enough to clamp onto a battery terminal. put a smaller clip on the other end. Clip the large clip to your NEGATIVE battery post. Simply clip the other end to the metal frame work on your instruments. This bypasses any open shorts, loose bolts or corrosion problems
I had some problems under hood when I first got my '76. Wipers, heater fan didn't work right, fan ran very oddly. Turned out it was all grounding. The + supply was just fine.

Repaired, Hired auto electrician. AKA small flexible guy with knowledge. The problem was fuse, socket, bulb related. While he was under dash replaced all fuses. Thanks to all who sent advice. I hope to get it back together by next weekend.
