Looking for a source....

Not sure of the name, im calling it the hinge pillar gusset. Anyone know where someone could find this piece??? Mine has been EATEN BY RUST. It attaches to the bird cage at the front and at the hinge pillar. the rocker comes up from the bottom and meets it. the rocker is tack welded to it.

Looks like a fairly easy piece to fabricate. Is it just spot welded to the other parts?

Man, thats prety ugly. Looks like your in for a rocker channel, front end at leasst and maybe fab a new gusset

Heres where i am as of today. Ive got the body/firewall apart, and now are beginning the removal of the rocker channel. One day though...it will be time to shift direction and start going the other way.

Same place I got this one

The shop that was doing my frame saw that the rocker channels were rusted and figured I'd need these replaced as well. We were pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't need either side.
