Default Electrical Help needed on 75 Stingray

I had done some work with the center console, I replaced the heating/air controller. Ever since then my interier lights (gauges/speedometer) and taillgihts do not come on when I turn on the headlights. I do have the floor lights when the doors are open. I also have turn signals.

I hate to bring it in since I know its a simple issue. It must be something like a ground issue but I'm unavail to see anything.

Anyone have an idea on where I should start working? I checked the fuses and they are good.

You aree going to have to run it down. Take your meter and first check the bulb sockets to see if you are getting power or not... then check all the way back to the buss, through the switch to see where you are losing continuity. This is one of those issues that just has to be traced out.

Default Disconnect the battery?

Did you disconnect the battery before you started? The lighter plug is always hot and has an exposed terminal. Touching any ground will blow the fuse. A quick check is to look in the owners manual and see what is common to the inoperative components. So far, everything you have identified as not working has the common trait that they are always hot, even with the car turned off. Check the manual and see if these items are all on the same fuse. That would tell you if the fuse or power lead is the problem. There were several grounding points on the dash. I doubt you would have lost them all at the same time.
