I'm having a bit of a tidy up under the hood and I'm getting an increasingly big box of nuts, bolts and brackets to go off to the plater.
However, the hood latches have an odd finish on them that I've never seen before. If possible I'd like to find out what it is and get it re-done. It's a black or dark grey coating with an almost sparkly sheen to it. Does anyone know what I'm on about, and have any idea what type of material it is?
If i can find that out it might make it easier to find somewhere to get it done. Otherwise, they're going in the zinc box with all the other bits!
Thanks for that, I've had a few resposes to the same effect over on the NCRS site. So we're definitely looking at black/grey phoshate or Parkerizing. Just need to find someone here that will do it for me now!
