heck,bone stock 57 chevys,4 holer,3 speed,would turn 15s all day long,with duals of course..we ran a bone stock 61 vette fuelie,4 speed,and turned very,very low 14s ,nudging just over 100 mph. Thats with a 283 and i believe,the smaller valve heads( but the big ones at the time).
