Default Bee Jay's New Valve Covers

Here is a picture of the valve covers I got from Sperkins.

After a few cans of brake cleaner to remove the paint and clean them up really good, I masked and painted them with brake caliper paint. This is what I ended up with.

Adds a little color to my engine compartment, and matches my MSD box nicely. What do you think?

They look real nice, you did a good job.

Now what is that Q-jet looking thing right in the center?

I think the word/name CHEVROLET could have been made just a little bigger ...

Where did you get the paint from?I need to paint my calipers on my '71. Is it just available at Auto Zone or should I be able to get it at any parts store?

You can get brake caliper paint at your local FLAPS, I used Kragens. Get two cans. They are about $6 each. Supposed to more oil and gas resistant.
