After a few cans of brake cleaner to remove the paint and clean them up really good, I masked and painted them with brake caliper paint. This is what I ended up with.
Adds a little color to my engine compartment, and matches my MSD box nicely. What do you think?
got some orange peel..... you need to wetsand with 2000 and 2500 grit, rub and buff.....
J/K - looks great, is that the rattle can brake calipper paint from the 'Zone' ? That stuff is on my brake calippers since 2001, not coming off , good stuff

Ooo, I like those! Only thing i might change is Chevrolet to Corvette maybe. But very nice...i agree that carb looks like the red-headed stepchild of the engine

You can get brake caliper paint at your local FLAPS, I used Kragens. Get two cans. They are about $6 each. Supposed to more oil and gas resistant.
