Revell made the 68 roadster and the 69 coupe. Both were based on the l-88, so they only include the tall hood for the big block. The blower hood that comes with the 68 is a small block hood. The center is not cut out, but the area is marked on the bottom side. AMT made the 70, 71, and 72 all in lt1 configurations. The 70 is a coupe, while the 71 and 72 are convertibles.

LT-1 /big block hood.....1:25 scale
Revell produced a kit of an orange 69 coupe which had a LT-1 /standard big block hood the kit is still readily available as I've recently purchased 2. The kit is funny as it was originally marketed as a "69 corvette 429 coupe". Look on Ebay you will find it. serial #7149 on the corner of the box. By the way i'm also building a model of my black 69 . I've used parts from 3 kits to complete it realistically down to the American Racing Vector rims and Hooker sidepipes........We all know this Vette thing is an illness
