Here's something to try on your master cylinder, I used "Tremclad Hammered" paint brushed on out of a can. It's thick (covers great) and leaves no brushmarks. My master cylinder looks like it's made out of bronze now, and any dirt or grease just wipes off. It comes in other colors too, aluminum would look pretty good. Mine was much worse than yours when I started...

This was about half way through the project, but its the worst looking it could possibly get, after stripping all the old paint off:
This is a picture I took about two weeks ago when i got home:
For all those out there still at the "before" be patiant, the "after" will come sooner than you can believe! (if there ever truely is an "after")

Thanks. I JUST put the freshly painted hood on and JUST pulled the car outta the garage for the first time since October. Note duct-tape holding the front spoiler on, I guess I'll fix that...

It's the first sunny, warm day here, and tons of people were walking around outside. Little kids, old men, and a SMOKIN' CHICK driving by all stopped to ask me about the car while I was washing it.
