Default Back on the Road again!!

Well, after 4 1/2 long months, she is back on the road. Went out for a drive since the weather was somewhat decent here in Michigan. The following was done over these past few months:
All new brakes
New exhaust manifolds
Rebuilt carburetor
New plugs / wires
New Tires / trim rings and caps
New parking brake cover
New center console plates
All new weatherstripping

I am sure that I forgot a few things (probably intentionally), but there is more to do. I like an excellent driver quality car, so I tweak the little details here and their.

It was a nice day. Too bad my vette isn't running yet. Perhaps next month after I finish the brakes and some odds and ends. see you on the road.

Default Amen to that

Here in Northeast Indiana it was close to 80 degrees and there was our 77 setting waiting for a new master cylinder.
Started with new calipers,
then new brake lines
Emergency cables
removed wheels and decided it was time for new tires
the list goes on but soon we will have it back on the road
better than ever.
Have learned a lesson just a small repair can go on forever if you don't stop and enjoy the ride once in a while. Even for only a day.

My Vette made it out of the garage today for the first time since Oct. Fired right up after having sat all winter. I was happily amazed.
