Torque Wrench ???
I did the same thing, bought a Husky for the same price as the Craftsman..and with a real warranty.

Even if the Craftsman torque wrench had a one year warranty...that is still wrong..kinda like saying buy a $100 Craftsman torque wrench every year...if they can't guarantee their torque wrench for life...why waste your money. Just buy a good one with a life warranty?
My 3/8" drive Craftsman torque wrench has a "soft rubber" handle "glued" to the polished chrome handle...a very poor set-up...just poor design. The other models have a hard plastic handle that doesn't slip.
The soft rubber handle design just won't hold up and they won't repair it....but they have no problem selling it.
Maybe they finally changed to a "life time warranty" because more folks were catching on to their "use it twice and buy a new one" policy?
