I will be looking for a vette sometime late May or early June. I will take a 68 - 72 project, but I really want a '69 project roller with no engine or trans. The interior doesn't have to be there either. What are my chances on finding one of these? I see lots of '69's for sale, but no rollers? Is this gonna be hard to find?

You'll find one if you're patient and aren't in a hurry to start the project....May or June? hmm, good luck
Yeah I know. Perfect weather to work on/drive a vette. That is when my truck will be paid for and I will have the money for a vette. I recently talked to someone on the forum (Levi) about a 69 roller that matched what I was looking for, but he wont pm me back
I know where a purple 69 is near my house. It has one of those crappy lookin station wagon conversion kits on it so nobody wants to buy it. U could prolly get it really cheap. Let me know and I'l go talk to the guy and take some pictures for u if ur interested.
i might be interested in that depending on how easily it can be converted to look original. I want a "stock" looking '69, no body mods. Thanks for the info though.
Just curious.... Why a '68 or '69 instead of a '70-'72? The early ones are going to be more expensive, and the 70's cars have the wheel flares to keep down the rock nicks.

I like the look of the gills more than the egg-crates. I wont mind having a '70-'72 at all, but if at all possible I would like to have a '69. I say '69 instead of '68 because of the "problems" finding parts for the '68's.
