I will be there as well if it doesn’t rain. My car doesn’t see bad weather! If it does rain I'll be there, but without the green machine........See ya all there!

All we have to do is start them all up at one time and the fumes will run all the C5 and 6ers to the other side of the parking lot.

That's easy. We all meet early before the show starts, maybe for coffee or something, and we all have a cruise to the grounds and enter at the same time. We'll run in owning the place.

Can anyone give me the details of the show? We'll happen to be there that weekend but won't have the 69 with us. We have to deal with my wife's mothers estate and closing down her house, so it's the truck instead of the Vette.

Matt,

if want to bring your '76 and just park it with the rest of us it's okay. Only register your car if want to be judged.

See ya tomorrow for some door panels.

I'm confused. I read the flyer, is the show at the Holiday Inn or is that just where people are staying. The flyer doesn't list any other location.

I doubt that! As earlier posted, we usually stake out a section for the sharks, and some of us will be there friday........LT

I'd like to go, but I'm pretty sure the wife works that weekend and I'm not taking my two children to a car show.

Looks like I will probably make it. I have bought a trailer and had the vette out of the garage and rolling. There is still a lot to do before it would be ready to show but there is still a little time.

It's the 70 LT-1's turn this year. RamJet and the 69 Vert didn't do very well the last couple of years at this show with the judges being sticklers for original. They also have a hard time against the C5 mafia and their modifieds. The LT-1 took a third way back when it used to be held in the Hearns Center but that was with the stock wheels, centers and rings. I'm leaving the TT-II's on cause I like them better. With all the StL Sharks planning to go, maybe we can bring home a club participation award????? Shark Tank here we come

The vette just hit the floor tonight after being on jackstands all winter. I have made several mods that need checked out before I start driving but with a little luck I will have that taken care of this weekend
You've got to be kidding? Driving 5 hours in a Corvette on the Interstate isn't as much fun as a twisty 2-lane highway, but it is still a blast, especially if you hook up with a couple of other Corvettes.

I rode/drove to Nashville for the 50th with a friend. What a BLAST!

I used to run off to events 3 to 5 hours away all the time. It was great going in the Corvette. I used to commute weekly to a job 5 hours away and the Corvette was a blast to take there on some weeks.

Do you think these cars are made to only drive around town?

I just don't want to listen to the engine scream for 5 hrs. and as I said, I don't even have room for an overnight bag. There is a big blue baby bottle taking up all the room in my storage area
