I sold My #s matching, NCRS correct 942 point on a 1000 point scale 72 base engine, red, saddle interior auto fully restored coupe for $20,000 last July. The 70 to 72 has wider slight flairs on the front and rear fenders that greatly reduce stone chips. The 71 or 72 is the best priced Chrome bumper coupe. Find one done and #'s matching and you won't lose $ on it if you take care of it. Prices have jumped in the last year though.

by "slight" flares - do you mean the flares that come out of the coke bottle flares? like.... the last part of the fender on top of the wheel well?

why do you think it is that the '71 and '72 better value.... less power bc of emissions restrictions as opposed to the '68 and '69?
