Default Performance shops in NJ ???

Just as stated,, where are some decent performance shops in New Jersey? Hopefully, Ocean County area or relatively nearby.
Thanx, Bill

what are you looking to do? Find a p-shop to buy good parts from or find a p-shop to work on your car?

Greens Auto Performance in Red Bank minutes off the Parkway. Vinnie Green is a great engine builder, some of engines are record holders. His mechanics are very knowledgeable. He has a web site ww.greensperf.com. The phone is 732-842-4383 tell them Ed said hi.

That was a couple quick replies, thanx guys. I'm considering doing most of the engine assembly work myself but without the capabilities to line bore or "acid bath" the engine for prep, I need a GOOD machine shop. There's a guy that I've been dealing with for years in Toms River attached to Norwoods for my auto shops, but I'm not sure if I want him to take on the bore part. Anyway, keep the places comin, I'll be makin phone calls & maybe visits. Thanx alot, Bill

OK that answers my question you need a performance shop to do work on your motor & not buy parts. There is just the shop in Manasquan. Its located off main st on the east side of the RR tracks. I forget the name of the shop but Bob77vette will know it.
He can build your block or you can pick out the parts from his shop & he'll build one for you.

Default speed shop

Last week I selected Windsor Automotive Machine Shop on RT 130 in East Windsor. They are in the process of cleaning and magna flux my 1968 427/435 hp block. A co-worker has used the shop for many years and the owner Paul is very knowledgeable and reliable - my guess probably close to 30 years.
