I got my frame back from the sandblaster last week and I painted it on Friday. Here are a few before and after pics, sorry about the poor quality(forgot the good camera at home )
What brand of product(s) did you use? I suppose its the resolution of the photo, but the primer appears as shiny copper on my monitor; kind of a cool take. Regardless, it looks great.
rsvette82 - I see rolls of steel in the back of these pics. I'm guessing you work someplace that produces those rolls and sells them to manufacturers?
I'm just curious if you guys send steel rolls to VP Steel Buildings in St. Charles or in Memphis.
Durango Boy - No we do not currently sell any coils to VP but thanks for the tip. I will have on of my sales guys give them a call! Normally the building manufacturers buy mill direct so they can get the same price as we pay. We mostly sell to automotive and lawn/garden.

The primer was a red oxide by Valspar and the gloss black was also by Valspar. I was very happy with the quality of the paint but not too happy with the POS spray gun that I purchased, when I paint the body I will have to buy a good gun.

No problem. They buy a LOT of steel, and I can't remember their suppliers but it may be worth it for you to contact them.
