Default storage tray handle
Hello corvette friends I would like to know if 1971 corvettes had the black handle with the back window storage writting on it to release the storage tray or did it just have the press button tray latch to release the tray? thank-you

My 71 had the black handle on it but it has a build date of Dec 21 1970. So I guess the early ones had the handle and the later ones has the button.

My '72 (stock) only has the push button latch on the storage shelf.

I just posted a thread about storage trays Sunday evening and found out that the push button was 72 only. 68-71 have the handle.
