If you knew anything about Porsche's, which you obviously don't, you'd recognize the flares as "GT-2". These are bolt-on to make for a quick change at the track in case you hit the wall or another obstacle...
P.S. - The new Victoria's Secret is in the mail today! Better hurry to the downstairs bathroom before mom/dad get home...
If you know anything about sarcasm, which obviously you don't, you'd recognize I was kidding. The smiley that is laughing out loud confirms I was joking.
P.S. I see your looking at it before you mom/dad/wife gets home also. You seem to have beat me (no pun intended)
So was the one pictured made in Germany? That car was made years ago, I'm not exactly a Porsche fan so I don't know.
That's obvious. My car (the black one pictured) was made in 1953. The silver car, I believe, is a '54 or '55 model. This era was post-war "occupied" Germany, so technically, these cars are Russian and U.S. made.
Holy sh*t I thought they were like 85's or something
Shows how much I know
They are very modern for being 54 years old
That's the beauty of the Porsche. Nothing has changed in almost 100 years. I can bolt on door panels from a 1923 Porsche into a 1999 Porsche. Those Germans know (knew?) what they're doing!

That's a 356. Not a 911. Each new year-model they double the previous number designation and then divide it by its' square root to come up with next year's model #. So, a 2007 Porsche is called a 10,111.

No, I believe they are made in Uruguay or Ecuador now. The Germans sold out many years ago...

Never was a fan of the glorified Volkswagen Beatles
Volkswagen never had anything to do with Porsche (until recently) with the exception of the 914 model.
Would you like to race against my "modified VW"? We can go 0 - 60, or, if you prefer, start the race @ 100 and see who hits 160 first. I'll be sipping a steaming hot latte out of an un-covered Starbucks cup the entire time...

Eventually I would race you and easily win. I thought only women drank lattes?
How? My car weighs just over 1900 lbs. and has right around 450 hp. If I turn up the boost, I'm exceeding 500hp. It's physically impossible for your...err your Dad's car...to out-accelerate mine. And, I doubt your car (there I go again)...your Dad's car...would be able to steer/stay on the road above 140mph.
Actually, I'll be sipping from your Mom's latte. Women dig guys in Porsche's.
