I would say a completely stripped corvette even with some previous body work on it should able to be blocked for a show-quality paint job in about 30 hours.
Use a polyester primer and block with 100 grit dry on a long board. Then another coat and block with 180 dry on the long board.
You might need a 3rd coat just in a few areas after that.
Final sand it with 400 or 500.
Spray on a sealer and it's ready for topcoating.
Three 10 hour days at most including the time to spray.
