Seems pretty rough for that kind of money. Look at how the fan shroud is tied together etc. For that kind of money you should be able to get a PRISTINE 78 SA................LT
What's up with the C5 logo on the glove box? I would look for an L82 if I were you. It appears the bumpers paint does not match. If you are set on that one I would suggest 10k off his asking price so 12k to 13k. Do yourself a favor and look around because I would not expect im to come down 10k!
For the kind of money they are asking you could find a really nice 78 Indy Pace Car which is more desireable and increases more in value than any other later model plastic bumper C3!
The little details are not right for a 23000 car. That thing had better be absolutely perfect for that price and even then I'm not sure that 23K is too much. The drivers seat cover doesn't look tight like brand new, I see oil on both valve covers, I think I saw some surface rust on the air cleaner lid, the alternator bracket has some scratches on it. I'd better be able to eat of the perfectly detailed underside of that car for that price.
It looks like a nicely cleaned up, 123,000 mile car that someone is trying to pawn off as "special". Sounds like you have a fondness for the "Pace Car" model. OK, but there are a lot of them out there. Checking out the cars at a "specialty" dealership is a good idea...but I don't know that buying one there is such a good idea. Usually overpriced and I can guarantee that they will be making a ton of money on it [or they wouldn't be selling it].
