Default Jack Date

Hi, I have what I believe to be a jack for a 1968 production made car as the date on the jack is "7J" which I think is September 1967, is this correct as I would like to sell it. And I don't think they used the letter "i" in their date coding, but I am not sure on this.

you are correct ... no "i" as M for December was last month assigned.
1968 and very early '69 used a jack with the 4x6" base. Later '69 changed to the 5x9" base. I would be interested also if 427-390 is not ...

Could be one year only. At some point, the regular C3 jack got a larger foot. Might have been for the '69 model year.

Jim PM'd me. I responded to him and I am waiting for some additional info before I decide to buy it or not. Stay tuned, just in case....
