Default Shipping Help

I was hoping some of you that have bought/sold parts and had to ship them could help me out. I would like to buy a tranny set up from Sly Vette. Weight around 200 lbs, couple of separate packages. Sly's in MI and I'm in OR. Any suggestions on what company's to check with for good prices? I only have another day to commit to this sale before I would have to bow out to the next in line.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks guys.

Scott

I shipped a Super T-10 from MI to the East coast via UPS. Also bought a Keisler 5 speed and it came the same way, UPS. I think the cost was around 80 bucks.

Damn, I'm being quoted 544 bucks for 200 lbs ground. Maybe I should just call them tomorrow and see if I'm doing something stupid on the web sight:o

Is it a 4 spd? Or automatic? I'm trying to figure out the 200lb part of your question.

FedX Ground has pretty good prices for heavy items.

Good luck

The 200 came from the total of all the parts. Tranny, Bell housing, Drive line...am I way off in thinking all those parts together would weigh 200?

Thanks for your guys help,
Scott

Thanks guys,
Looks like its more in the 150 dollar range when the goods are less than 150lbs. Thats more what I was thinkin. Tomorrow I will try and set it all up, and then hopefully I will be 1/2 way to getin this car on the road!!!
