I have a 78 L82 corvette that does not have the original air cleaner or the evaporative canister hoses hooked up. I have started hooking new evaporative canister hoses up but am stuck on where the hoses connect to the carb. I have hooked a hose from the bottom center of the carb to a tee that goes to the PCV and then down to the evaporative canister to two inlets through a Y. I need to know where the other two inlets on the evaporative canister connect. Also do the other two connect directly to the carb or do they T out to anything else? Most of the inlets on the carb are currently plugged.

Air cleaner hose connects to the carb in the rear, kinda pass. side.

 

On the diagram one side of a T goes to the EGR valve, another to the canister, what is the device on the other side of the T?

 

CPatt Order the '78 assembly instruction manual. It'll help. Other side of the tee is (I think) TVS (thermal vacuum switch).

 

It's the thermal vacuum switch (TVS) that controls the EGR.
