Default Non destructive Stereo?

Hi. I`m new to this forum. im 24 and live in Norway. I`v had American cars sice i was 18, but last week i bought my first Corvette C3 (1974). It just came over from the US, and my question is this. Its completely original (so to speak) and i dont want to ruin the enterior, but i would love to be able to listen to cd`s when im out cruising. Are there any smart solutions, or do you get cd players that fit where the narrow cassette-player is now?? Any suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

Looking farwards to getting to know you all!

Ian

The aftermarket providers sell reproduction bezels which are cut to fit CD players. Second option is to install a remote changer.

Have you considered the IPod/ MP3 player attachments that plug into your cigarette lighter for power, and transmits a signal to the radio. I have one that works great, especially considering the fidelity of the original stereo equip. also, requires no mod to the car.
