Speaker question
I am replacing the kick panel speakers in my car and the new ones fit Ok, but.... when I hold them in place I can feel the attraction of the magnet with the birdcage. Will this effect the speakers in any way. I have some smaller speakers but they are not as good and I like my sound systems to sound reasonable.
Also, should I cover up the holes in the birdcage frame just above the speakers. Speakers generally perform better in closed enclosures.

No the speakers will be fine. Now, to aid the speaker performance, get a set of these to mount the speakers in. It will seal the air space for better mid bass and it will shield them from moisture.
