Default Started my resto today...

Some may remember me, I took about a 10 month break from the forums, (hanging around syty.net for a while) after having no luck selling my car I have decided to keep, and restore it. I'll be posting pictures and what not of my progress. I have all the front disassembled, and the trim/emblems are removed. I'll have the car apart completely this weekend. This inst a frame up, since it really doesn't need it, but it will be a color change. Will probably go with a Ferrari yellow. It will be yellow for sure. So anyway just wanted to fill everyone in on progress... oh one thing i didn't get to yet were the headlights, seem like a bitch to remove from the car, all the springs and what not. Havent researched them too much yet, how hard are they? Thanks!!

Oh i'll be also doing the interior, from tan to black. Still haven't picked out seats. I think the yellow black combo should look good...

Default headlight removal

major pain, but I did it, they can come out in whole thru the bottom of the car. three bolts on either side of each bucket you must remove the steel bar that is a support for the front bumper it runs doen the middle of the front end paint in place if you can scraches are impossible to avoid if you paint them frist.

Well i really need to get some pics up. Working on the windsheild post right now, it was quite a suprize to see my windsheild had been half assed siliconed in, not even a urethane, but like bathroom tub silicone. Needless to say the glass pushed out without much effort after the trim was removed.

Found some other little parts, will be getting a set of Coy's C5, the gray for it, if i sell the current wheels, and picked up a set of Summit sport seats, hopefully the will do the job, they were reletivly cheap.
