Default Please HELP 1978 corvette

anyone know where to find the fusible links as my windows and some gauges are not working.

Do you have power anywhere in the car? If it only the windows and guages not working then it is not the fusable links.

it was the ignition also but i rewired that to other 12v wires. its an msd ignition system. now only the windows and gauges are out.

Both of these have fuses in the fuse block. Check both. I've seen fuses which looked okay till you pulled them out and got a closer look at them. Power windows also have a relay under the console. If memory serves, neither (gauges or windows) have fusible links in the circuits.

Check for a mutual ground circuit. There is one behind the instrument panel. The windows may use the same ground source. When you test the circuit with a test light , your test light will ground it enough to check good. It will fool you.
