Default New Side pipes shields

Well I have made some new styles of Steelshields and would like some comments. I know the COBRA, Hot Rod and GM designs are not Corvette logos but I have been asked to include these to the lineup. Also that GM license I secured lets me use all the Copyrighted names. The COBRA short shields work well also for any side pipes if that is the style you like.

For the license styles check these out.

Hot Rods

Cobras

I have been putting off side pipes which I love since I have some little girls that I would hate to bump against a hot side pipe in garage. Do these actually stop the transfer of heat at all? Is there a link that I could see pics of these installed?

Being stainless they do keep you or your family from getting burned legs. even on a long run you can touch them with out getting burned. Now that said they are warn when the engine is running but you can put your hand on them and it will feel about as hot a toast just out of the toaster. They cool off really fast and stay looking like chrome for a long time I have a set on my Vette and even after a year they look like they did when I put them on.

They fit 3.5 to 4 inch pipes, Patriot or Hookers.

Are all of your shields shinny? The idea of protecting my daughter's legs has me thinking (thanks, hot77rod), but I like my matte black pipes...

Dean,
The new styles look great. How much if I were to give you a design and have a one-off set done?

So far all I have made is highly polished stainless steel. Maybe in the future we can do black powder coating?
Hear is a set on black pipes.

Absolutely amazing work! I've been wondering if you've thought of doing an earlier style Corvette lettering, like the early C3 Style. I like the ones you have, but having the newer style lettering looks a bit out of place on a C3, imho.

Dean, that Cobra design is "almost" enough to get me to buy a Ford.
