If you are considering going to either a 2004R or 700R4 do not wait any longer. I just took my first highway drive with the new 2004R from BTO and it is worth every penny I spent. At 65 MPH I was at 1900 rpm (instead of 2900 rpm) and could hear the radio..
Man, I wish I had the duckets to do this right now. I am not looking forward to the long drive from Grand Rapids to Birmingham for the dream cruise this summer. Oh well, someday.

So good to hear, I just picked mine up from the trucking company last night and will be my weekend fun should only take couple hour to put in but I will stretch out the fun with all the pressure testing and stuff. So wot shift point what rpm do you shift in auto??? I have the level 2 and 2200 stall which one did you go for? Any other nice aspects like firm shifting and 2nd gear scratch that you can tell us about. If you cant I need my vet fix its driving me nuts.
Mines been in since 2/2003 and never any issues. Like you said, much nicer driving down the highway at 2200rpm's at 70mph with my 3.55 gears. 17mpg is an added benifit. The lower first/second gear ratio makes for quicker takeoffs too. 200-4R install.

I put a 700r4 in and yes, the rpm's dropped. But didn't get any better mpg. Kind of sucked.
