Default Problem with hubby's ball...pics inside

Okay, it's not what ya'll are thinking! I just needed to get your attention!

As some of you know, my husband is restoring and modifying his 70 vette. He put a keisler 5 speed transmission in it, and the gear shift ball that came with it is AWFUL in my opinion. He likes it, but I think it ruins the car!

So what do ya'll think? Here are some pics of the outside and the inside:

okay...here is THE BALL:

Well? Should I unscrew my hubby's ball and hide it forever or let him keep it?

Go!

The ball dont look that bad, but it does have a certain "look" to it somehow. What would you replace it with ? The car is a knockout . Peace,,,Moosie

I'm not a ball man myself...prefer a good old Hurst T-handle ...

AC/DC.....

I've got big *****
I've got big *****
And they're such big *****
Dirty big *****
And he's got big *****,
And she's got big *****,
But we've got the biggest ***** of them all!

And my ***** are always bouncing
My ballroom always full
And everybody comes and comes again
If your name is on the guest list
No one can take you higher
Everybody says I've got great ***** of fire!

CHORUS

Some ***** are held for charity
And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure,
They're the ***** that I like best.
And my ***** are always bouncing,
To the left and to the right.
It's my belief that my big ***** should be held every night.

I say IF your going to steal it...put an 8 ball in it's place. I think black would look better. I also like a handle over a **** if it' not going to be stock.

Looks like he picked it up at a Jack-in-the-Box burger joint...kinda looks like Jack! Too big, in my opinion. It just doesn't give off the same vibe as the rest of the car. Car is "kick a$$"....shift **** is rinky-dink. Put a nickel plated metal **** on it, rather than chrome.

Hurst T-handle would look just right in there. Just keep quiet, Fathers day is soon.

I suggest you replace it with a happy face, but have the real replacement ready install.

T-handle is my vote.

I'm with Big G- always loved the hurst T-handle.

A chrome skull with blinking LED eyes would be another option.

The shiney chrome one would look right at home in there.

Thanks for the AC/DC lyric Big_G

I don't think she's the tinest bit curious.

I have several ***** and t-shift handles. I switch em around every now & then, like my women. I find that the T-handle shifter is easier for my hand to locate with my right hand when driving.

I went with the black chrome ball, but I bet an 8 ball would look really cool in there.

I would also like to say your hubby is a very lucky man, as his woman let's him deicide whether or not he can keep his ball or not. My wife has mine locked away at the bank.

btw, very nice work. I saw the frame a while back and it was great motivator to finish mine.

Get him the Hurst T handle.....But.... Instead of the plain jane model get him the one with the push button on the thumb side. Why you ask??
To go with the Hurst Roll Control you bought him too
That way theres a reason he has to change it,not just cuz you dont like it.
Now since I've given my .02 would you please tell me what seats are those ??
