Default 77 Blinker light

HI I am new to this, so I have a 77 L48 that I am doing a ild resto on, I have a blinker light on the tach that stays on constantly thus draining my battery can someone help??? Thanks

You need to do two things as a new guy:

1, Fill out your personal info so when you do #2 people will know a bit more about you and your car.

2. Move your thread over to the C3 side of the house. That's where the experts on 77s hang out.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find some of the friendliest and most helpful people here. In fact, Geek spent many hours helping me with a nasty problem on my 65 last Fall.

But as he said, you'll have better luck in the C3 forum where experts on your year hang out.

My best guess is the flasher unit has gone bad. It is mounted to the lower dash panel and behind the map pocket. Cheap at most auto parts stores. trade it out. If that's not the solution, it has to be either the signal in the steering column or a short in the wiring.
