Hey all im looking for the build sheet on my 77. Is it on top of the gas tank like the earlier models?

Here's link to article written on build sheets at the Corvette Action Center. It also appeared in the NCRS Restorer originally. It describes other places as well.

Could also be on the front of the tank, like this one.

I didn't think it was too bad. You have to remove the spare tire carrier. Then you can see the bottom of the tank. Then there are two straps that hold the tank in place. I also removed the cross bar that the tank sits on. I have heard some people say that they had to remove their exhaust. I was able to unhook the rear hangers and lower the mufflers down a little to get them out of the way. I painted the tank and frame while I had it out and also replaced all of the rubber fuel lines.

I stole your picture. It's a good example of a little hint of a tank sticker peeking over the edge of the tank.

Good quality pic, too, so your camera skills are better than some.

No problem. I'm not so sure about the camera skills though. I would bet it was more the quality of the camera than skills of the photographer.
