i'm puting my dash back together on my 70 vert.
the wiper switch bezel (not from my car, could be a later year) has three openings in the face. the top center is for the wiper switch. the other two are below and to each side, and are about 1/2" x 1".
what are these two openings for?
thanks, jeff
Unless I am missing something here, the two hole in the wiper control bezel are the openings for the A/C upper vents. You apparently bought the A/C version of that item...the non-A/C version has "C O R V E T T E" embossed on it where the vents go.
[The headlight warning and seat belt lamps are on the gauge bezel.]

I thought he got his bezel terminology mixed up so I was going by the size of the holes.Could be wrong- sorry if I was.
thanks for the reply
the openings that i'm referring to are below the openings for the a/c vents. i think DW is on the right track. i think that the two openings are for indicator lights, but my wireing harness doesn't have any connections or light sockets that would insert in this area. that's why i thought that the bezel (ebay special) is from a different year, and my aim wouldn't show info on them.
edit-these openings are right below the fan speed and wiper 'push' lettering.
thanks easy mike
is there a bulb(s) behind the lens or are they just plastic inserts? any idea where they can be gotten? i've checked the catalogues without any luck.
jeff
You might want to try ZIP Products [on-line]. I checked out the other aftermarket books and could not find them. Also, you might post a WTB request on the Forum parts section.
