Octane rating
How long does a gas station have their 94 octane sitting in underground tanks before someone buys it ? And is it still 94 octane ?

I have often wondered that as well. I can't find anywhere with 94 anymore, but even with 93, I wonder how many people use it...

what i wonder is if it is really 94 or just 89....... they could easily swap gas if needed to be........ not sure if there is a way to test it at home

Me too. My 70 L46 with a 3.7 rear loves the 94. Sunoco blends their octane ratings. Believe they start with 94 then use lower octanes to blend to their various grades.
