Default To all Veterans

While I know its Memorial Day and not Veterans day I can't thank those that aren't here but I can thank those that knew them and are just a responsible for the facts that:

I don't have to bow to a King
I don't have to speak Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, Russian. or Arabic

Unless I darn well please.

". . .and the home of the brave."

My, and my families gratitude.

Both my parents were vets of WWII.
God bless them and all that have passed this way.
We owe you our lives and freedom.

Love and peace

Hopefully when these guys come home, they'll get a little more respect than we did in '69.

My deepest thanks to all who serve or have served!

Those of us who are appreciative need to speak up more often... the general public is more interested in american idol or whatever

God Bless America - I have been PROUD to serve in the U.S. Navy and would go back today, if they would take an OLD GUY

My son is going in this summer and has qualified for UDT/SEAL training and I AM JAZZED as all hell, and even prouder (and little envious) ... but in any case, they are getting me back (in a different way)!

God Bless America and the freedoms and liberties that many take for granted. More importantly, God Bless our troops who help preserve these freedoms and liberties and God Bless their patriotic families. And those who don't like what America is being forced to become can LEAVE (I'll help show you the way)!

Fred Thanks for that news clip. It sent chills all thru my body looking at that Huey and hearing it start. I like you started out as a door gunner in 69 with the 1st avn brigade 92nd ashc. I miss flying in one. Thanks again.

Even though I have lost faith in Bush a long time ago. I still support our boys overseas. It is not their fault they were thrust into the Bush's private revenge war.

I just hope they all come home soon!!

Let me jump in here again - my son is now going UDT/SEAL and I am so proud of him, that if/when he completes the training, I am going to give him my vette that I am working on so hard (he doesn't know it yet, but I want to show him in a way I know he understands) just how proud of him that I am, that he wants to serve and risk all for country.

And of course, I can start on another one for my daughter, that just completed high school NROTC

You guys are great. I don't think we can ever adequately thank those of you that have served our country.
Thank you,
Tom

This month there is a reunion of vietnam helicopter crew members. Its in orlando. I have been to 5 so far,and this one is supposed to be the biggest yet,as 800 rooms have been already reserved. Stop on buy, perhaps you will meet someone you flew with,or family of a KIA. Info can be found at VHCMA ...just goggle it and it will come up.I will be there, buy you a beer if you show. I will be with the 129th AHC folks. Just listen for an Aussie gal, thats my wife.
