Replacing Weather Striping
Getting ready to replace the weather stripping on my 79. Ordered kit from Zip. The old stuff was not even on the car anymore. so to the point, while trying to prefit the door seal it does not seem to line up has anyone had to cut or adjust these weather strips before? one more thing where can i find the strip caulk for the windshield post? I know alot of people find things closer and cheaper. thanks

when I did my '71...no cutting involved, everything fit just fine.
to remove the old weatherstrip glue = NAPA, or local autoparts store
caulk to put on windshield post trim = Home Depot has a black rubber caulk
