AVOID: Eastside Machine in Seattle, WA

Eastside Machine in Seattle totally screwed up VERY simple machining for a 1995 LT1 build. Errors included:
- Ordering wrong pistons
- Wrong deck height
- CUT a brand new Eagle crank .010 that was within specs
- Bored/honed to .020 over for an .030 piston
- Installed freeze plugs and cam bearings although told specifically not to.
- Tore down brand new heads to "check them" without being asked.
- Missed deadlines continuously until I removed the engine from the shop nearly 2 months past the promised date.
The list goes on - but the bottom line is that although the machinist is a really nice guy he's just not organized to do the right work or get it done on time.
