My 75 coupe is acting very strange when I shut off the car the right headlight will rise all by itself along with the left side,they take turns.
I then have to start the car for them to drop. I have new headlight actuators installed.Any help much apprecdiated.
or a major leak in the signal circuit to the relay. It looses vacuum to the top of the relay while there's still enough in the reservoir to raise the lights
check valve located in the vac line right on top of the intake manifold.
It's supposed to be a one-way valve, when it begins to leak/goes south the headlights will pop-up as will the wiper door either upon engine shutdown or sometimes when you floor it.
Weird...its out of a book. Also been posted here many times.

I know I got one just like it from Corvette-101.com.The port closest to the **** (#2)is the main vac source from the manifold.The other port(#3)goes to the pulldown.Here is one from a 69 that is correct at the switch.
