Run. I have a dealer license, and if that air could be made to blow cold with just a recharge, it would be cold. When you're at an auction and the air on a car isn't working, you know it's more than just a recharge.

be very careful
Panthius, i have to agree with the majority of the responces you have gotten here, i do not want to slander a piece of crap pompious butthole openly here on the forum, but would be glad to share my story with you,( p.m. me ) you see i made the mistake ( my fault ) of buying a car from us corvettes do not trust this salesman, his world is only focused on making money no matter what the situation, he will tell you anything to sell that vehicle to you , his word in my opinion is as worthless as they come , and hear this he is one fast talking bull s--t artist, i only hope i get to meet him in person someday, believe me 4 months of listening to lies and promises stressed me to the human max, please pm before you make that move , and give me your phone number i will call you on my nickel and tell you the horror story

1. The vehicle that you are purchasing is being sold "AS-IS" or on a "with all faults" basis.
2. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the vehicle is within the control of the purchaser.
3. Should the vehicle purchased by you prove to be defective following this purchase, you, as opposed to the seller, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing and repair.

1. He's had buyer issues in the past with cars that needed hidden or undisclosed repairs.
2. He's unwilling to research what the car really needs or make necessary repairs (i.e. sell and flip quickly by making it look nicer) and doesn't seem to be very customer focused/friendly.

Have the checked out by a Corvette inspector. If he says its OK and worth $12K, buy it and enjoy it. If not, look for another one. Remember no Vette is perfect, especially over 25 years. They all will need some work or alot of work depending on the price paid. Like my grandma used to say "You want to make sure its worth what you are paying for!"

The guy may be a crook but he's a pretty damn good photographer.
As others have said I'd check something like this in Person or at the very least, I'd have a forum member go check it out for you.

don't do it
I bought a 69 from him that looked as good, it required a total rebuild. Notice the red paint on the door pin, that car was probably painted with a pressure washer like mine was. Please back away

Run Forrest Run. Also why are these photos from Huntington Beach California and the company is in Illlinois? Though I did notice the 714 area code for a phone number. Thought that kinda odd unless they are just a 3rd party taking a cut.....
