Default Rivets

I have the intake off my 81 and have removed the splash plate on the bottom of the intake. I had to chisel off the old rivets and can't seem to find a place to buy new ones. I don't want to use aluminum pop rivets because I'm worried that the heat will eventually make them loose. Does anyone know where to get the rivets that are for that purpose? Thanks for any help.

I got mine at an automotive machine shop. They had all types and sizes.

Try www.rivetsinstock.com . They specialize in rivets and rivet tools that're sometimes hard to find.

They are tapped into the bottom of the manifold with a small hammer.

If you're not worried about if it looks origional, you could drill and tap the manifold, then spot weld the bolt head to the shield to keep the bolts from coming out.
