Big Block Motor Mount Bolt Direction
On a 69 BB, which way should the motor mount bolts be installed?
Initially, I thought from back to front (as kinda indicated in the AIM), but if the left Hi-Perf exhaust manifold is installed like this, you cannot remove the motor mount bolt. I am installing it front to back on the driver's side - just curious if anyone can give me a heads up for issues down the way ...

...so meaning going in aft(from FRONT to back) I agree with this and the downward and towards center. The AIM on page J201 B-3 6 shows the small block with the bolt going going in back to front. But I couldn't imagine having to remove the exhaust manifold to replace the motor mount. Come to think of it - I never did that in the past . I will take both bolts from front to rear.

Don't tighten them down until they are all in.
