I have had the vette stored at my in-laws for 2 years now, making it almost impossible to gat anything done on it. But today my contractor is clearing out the garage and I can bring her home. Still need to paint the floor and some odds and ends but after 2 years I'm 99.99% there!

Should have knocked it down and started fresh.

Wow, nice rehab job. I have done a couple, it is more work than building a new one

Wow, love the style youve done it in. I like the metal roof, all the windows and garage doors. Nice details.

Thanks you guys, Moved in 2 years ago almost to the day. We knew we were going to change the house but I never thought it would take so long and cost so much! If I would have known then what I know now, I would never have bought the place.

I just can't wait to get the vette in the garage.

That's a awesome transformation there. I definitely would be itching to get the Vette back home. I think you should chirsten the garage floor with 2 black stripes!

Just got finished painting my sisters floor in her garage, turned out great.
Just go to Sherwin Williams and get the H&C Shield create Epoxy kits $69.95 each (does one car) so for 3 car you'll need 3. It comes with floor cleaner and 1 Deco Flakes bag (paint chips to throw on floor)But to really make it look good you need to throw down alot more flakes almost covering the base color (with comes in biege w/ white, black and tan flakes and grey w/ black, white and grey flakes) And when your finished you coat the floor with H&C clear Acrylic.
here's the all the stuff just FYI. (for a three car)

3 kits of epoxy paint
12 extra quarts of flakes (you'll need to order/ prob not in store) + the 3 in the kits=15 in all 17.95 each
2 gal. of clear Acrylic (for two coats to be perfect) 44.95 each.

Total price was (in Texas Dollars) was $588.99

total 3 days labor, 1 day to clean and wash (in heat days fast enough to paint in 2 hours) then paint and flake dry.
Day2 clear dry, day 3 2nd coat dry done.

This is second time to do it and have been very happy with look and toughness.

Do you have any pictures of this? I've been considering going with a darker terra-cotta color with the flecks and clear coat.

Does the clear coat get slippery when wet?

I don't have any pics,(of the biege) but it works very well, as for the clear coat I forgot to say that the kit comes with a very small bag of very fine sand(clear) that you can add to the clear coat for a non-slip type of grip.
If you were to paint a test area of just the clear with the non- slip additive it would fill like shark-skin or light sandpaper. When I do the garages, I add so much extra flakes that it creates a texture just with the flakes, then when I add the clear, I just add only half of the non-slip material in.
And with two coats of clear and the more amount of flakes its pretty much not slipery.
The Biege on my sisters came out really nice, looks like a grainte counter top.

Here's pics of mine, in grey (and I also wished I have bought more flakes I was about 7 or 8 quarts short of flakes, because I did not order the flakes. I just drove around to a few store and bought up what they had)

Thanks, that looks really, really, good. Almost like tarazzo (sp?) I'm probably heading down the darler color path, Terra Cotta or something similar.
