Core Charges
has anyone ever had any problems with gettig core charges back from vb&p ??????????? strickly a time issue should have gotten back on my cc 5/23/07...

Never had a problem, they are a good supplier 
. Typically, it may take 2-3 weeks to get your core $$$ back as they need to determine if your core is rebuildable. If not, no core $$. Muskegan Brake was the same way, took 3-4 weeks to get core refund. Hang in there, you'll get your $$.

I didn't get mine back immediately from VB&P so I fired off a quick email to Patti inquiring about the status. She looked into the situation and sent back an email apologizing for the delay and confirmed they received the cores. Credit was posted that day. My whole experience with VB&P was stellar. 180 different than my previous run-in with Precision Brakes.

I ran into a short delay when I was late in sending a pair of brake calipers back, which just happened to coincide with a busy time for them. After a phone call, they took care of it right away. Can't say enough good things about VB&P.

same thing happened to me. i shipped it the day it was supposed to be there. but i called first and explained my situation. they said "no problem" so i set it over night. tracked it. i will give a call to them in the morning

Patti at VB&B is great at customer service. I had arranged with her to exchange a 79 spring mounting plate for a 72 plate and she was very accomodating, even though I had bought the suspension package a year before (hadn't installed it yet). Unfortunately Patti was on vacation when I sent the plate back and her assistant wasn't nearly as efficient at getting the exchange done. If you don't deal directly with Patti you may be taking your chances on things getting done right.

update from vb&p
spoke with patti today and she told me that they were a little slow with the core charges but it shows that my c.c. was refunded $135 on the 18th. called the c.c. company and it still hasn't come through. they told my wife to check back in a couple of days..... what are your thoughts???
