If you mean the metal tag on the door frame near the upper hinge, that is the build date.

Is it a RPO# ?
Car is a 69 conv.
My guess is that the tag is "G06" indicating a 6 February 1969 build. The "C" and "G" are easily misread.

Yup. That is the build date. E = December. So mine was built 12/01/72. The tank sticker says the same thing.

B = Sept
C = October
