Default Sidepipe frame insulators

I have them in hand, how are they installed? I need to lift the body a few inches soon to replace my disintegrated body mounts, and I want to get the insulators in place then.

Could a shop or assembly manual help from a car they came stock on?

Maybe. The only AIM page I've seen for the '69 pipes isn't too helpful on the insulators.

You mean the fiberglass insulation strips ... think they glue to the frame,
but I don't have a 69 AIM to check (have 68,70, 75). IMO - not necessary.

Im pretty sure you can lay them over the frame without any glue. Mine didn't seem to be glued when i took them out, but that was after 35 years.

I take it they go between the frame and the rocker channel? I might stick a bit of spray glue on them when I put them in place.

Which side goes which way? I'm guessing the foil goes towards the rocker channel?
