Length is Everything
I've read up on seatbelt extenders and ended up at my local Chevy dealer looking for one to put in my 82 CE.
Long story short, apparently there isn't one made by GM any more for vehicles that old.
Anybody know if they are available after-market somewhere or from some other source?

I've got the same issue.
Look around on the internet, I found several 8 - 12 inch extensions that are for the floor post end of your existing seat belts. That didn't totally work for me as my '75 has dual retractors. I figured, worst case, I could add it to the receptical end.
The only other solutions I can find is to have the seatbelts rewebbed by some one like SSnake-Oyl to be longer. Using the same hardware, retractors, etc. but adding length to the belt portions as necessary. This works for me as I need mine redone and longer.
