Vette Names
what are (if you hav)your names for your vettes (or other vehicles)?
mine? i call her Kaye, its funny because ive called the vette that so long, mom dad and ALL of my friends refer to her as Kaye, "hey y dont you bring Kaye over" lol
my LP is even K-74VET
the only reason for the name is i like naming cars and i dont like long names, and thought it fit

right now that I am working on the suspension and i have spent 40 hours on it and almost gone no where I could tell you I have a billion names for it.... I just don't think they would appropriate!

I guess I call it "My Baby"
My wife has called it in the past "the Mistress" she said If she didn't know I was out in the garage working on the Vette she would think I was having an affair.

I haven't named the '68 yet, but I thought this was funny. My good friend has (1) C3, (1) C5, and (1) C6. He and his wife is expecting their first child.
If it's a girl, he wants to name her Avette.

I usually refer to it as the Pig(recall the cable TV commercial about 'feeding the pig') as well as a whole host of other names that would get me sent to banned camp if I print them here

Mine is simply the Black 'Vette or Vette Noir en francais. (assuming the car is masculine, probably a mistake on my part...) The name is also a play on 'Black Beast' or bete noire.
It gets called lots of other things that I won't repeat here when stuff breaks and I have to

We haven't settled on a name for the vette yet, but my wife's first reaction was to call her 'mistress'... after a while I started to call her 'chick magnet'... after driving it my wife started calling her 'dick magnet'... I now just refer to her as the 'money pit'!

Oddly enough, Bruce is her name. Bruce is the nickname they gave the shark model while filming the Jaws movies. So my "white shark"= a great white shark=Jaws=Bruce. Ok, it was Miller time when I named the car, maybe that had something to do with it!
