But naming a car is and being Ghey aren't mutually inclusive
It depends on the car, how much personality it has, and what you call it when it bites you.
BTW I named my Tanks in Germany and DS 1 as well, a long standing traditional among us armor types, further more Since I was in the Armored Cav, we wore stetsons, so does naming my tank and wearing a cowboy hat mean I was in a Broke Back Squadron I think Not

I don't really have a problem with naming a car. I was just joking with the guys that choose effiminate names.
As far as naming a tank, chopper or airplane etc. I don't blame a person for naming something that protects their life and kicks arss.

The '68 is Lil' Red hence the license plate LILRD68. The '93 Anniversary is Ruby 2's Day since it's the second ruby anniversary vette I've had...Ruby 1 is what I was driving when I met my wife so we're a bit sentimental about that model.

I guess if anything, I call mine the Black Hole. A lot of money disappears there.
I had an Oklahoma vanity plate for my 68 BB roadster that said "RUG RAT". It was before my wife and I had kids, and the big block qualified for the Rat tag.

I named her Kitty, when I drove it home after she was in the shop for a month I was singing Bruce Springsteen's song Kitty's back so her name is Kitty. When I cut my knuckles working on her I call her f(*#ing whoa.
