Default Gas cap exchangeable ?

Hi,
I have '69 which has chrome locking gas cap. I'm thinking to replace it with gas cap w/o lock, but are these exhangeable ?

Yes if your looking at the 1963-69 Gas Cap Stock Replacement Vented.
The chrome one just has the gasket removed for vented and installed for non vented.
You might find a cheaper one on Ebay.

I recently bought the non vented for my 71 directly from GM. You may check there first.

Thanks.

As for buying from GM, do they have website, or do I need to contact them directly ?
