Default 570 miles with sidepipes!

Drove the Corvette from RI to Norfolk VA yesterday as part of my PCS move.

Not bad with the sidepipes but the lack of AC was rough. Also averaged about 22 mpg.

Hi Steve,
Sounds like you got th ecar running good again, all the "bugs" out? 22 mpg not bad- still have the 4 spd and 336?

Hey Gary,

3:36 with a Tremec 3550. I did the swap back in 2001 before all the kits came out. .030 over 350 with RPM heads, RPM Q-Jet manifold, Crane HR276 roller (214/222 @.050").

Still using the Lars' tuned Q-Jet. Seems to be working well.

Yesterday was a scorcher here in Central VA, so I'm sure you were frying in a convertible with no A/C. Glad to hear the car made it ok.
