I'm talking about my windshield washer bottle.Man that thing is crammed in there. Also how in the world do you put in the underhood light bulb. It's got that shield around the top half and I can't get a bulb in there.
Assuming you are referring to your 82CE that is listed in your profile, if it has that washer bag/bottle that is crammed down in the LHS fender behind the front wheel (like my '70) it is a pain to get to from the top, luckily on my '70 the egg crates side grills can be removed for easy access.
If it's like the one on my 77, you'll never remove it with the braking system in place. I was able to get the bolts out of mine by touch, flip the bottle over, and replace the pump. Not really a fun job.
Last year, at the end of the first summer with my 81, I went to the quick oil change place where I take my DDs for a final oil change before storage. They found the washer bottle empty (I never used it) and they tried to fill it. It leaked out as fast as they pumped the washer fluid in. I put it on the "someday, maybe fix" list and put a drip pan under it at the storage garage.

Mine is the same way. luckily I only drive the car in nice weather, so I have not had the need to use it. But it would be nice if it worked!!
